The Pound arts centre, run by local charity Pound Arts, is the hub of Corsham’s arts offering, with three annual seasons of professional performances, film, participatory arts events and exhibitions.
It’s a welcoming and vibrant venue in the centre of Corsham with a 100-seat auditorium, an exhibition space, café bar, parking and baby-friendly facilities. The centre also include rehearsal and workshop spaces, studio spaces housing three resident visual artists and a community workshop.
There is plenty to do at The Pound so have a look at the current programme and support Pound Arts to continue to provide professional arts activity in Corsham and across Wiltshire.
Look out for Pound Arts annual festivals based in Corsham:
Blue Sky Festival in June, a celebratory family art festival
Magic and Mayhem in November, a contemporary arts blend of illusion, glamour, laughter, oddities and imagination
Pound Arts also manages:
Education & Outreach – collaborative arts projects in Corsham and across Wiltshire working to improve and sustain arts education and access to the arts for all ages.
