About the Festival

Cheltenham Music Festival was launched in 1945 and to this day proudly celebrates our love of classical music. This rich and diverse programme takes advantage of the beautiful Cotswolds surroundings to create a magical musical tour featuring the world's best classical talent.

What's On

The 2023 Festival – our 78th – brought together a selection of musical delights, from glorious chamber music to alternative and unique experiences with classical music. We welcomed artists including: City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Manchester Collective, Laura Cannell, The Carice Singers, Scottish Ensemble, Laura van der Heijden and more.

Music for Schools

We introduce music to hundreds of pupils with our Music for Schools programmes with the aim to engage a whole new generation with the power of music.
