Book Tickets Online

Different ticket options allow you to visit the interior of some of the buildings, such as the University’s oldest teaching and examination room, The Divinity School (built 1427-88). Here you will discover more of the University’s fascinating history. Our guided tours go behind the scenes in the Library, including its oldest research library, the Duke Humfrey’s Library, which has been in constant use for over 400 years.

You can also visit the Weston Library which was completely renovated and reopened in 2015. This award winning building features the Café and shop, but also displays and exhibitions, which are free of charge and display some of the finest examples from the library collections.

We are open all year round, except at Christmas, New Year and Easter, when we close on certain days. Please check our web site for opening dates at these times.

Please note that certain areas of the library may close at short notice due to university, library or other hosted events.
