Tuesday 25th May – 10:00am – 1:00pm – Ticket £50 – BOOK HERE
Join Local artist Sasa Marinkov exploring Monoprint techniques to recreate the spirit of some of Turner’s landscapes and interiors. We will use his works as inspiration and our own sketches and photographs of Thames river scenery anywhere from Hammersmith to Twickenham. Turner’s Thames studies inspired some of his great Liber Studiorum prints.
Depending on the current Government guidance, we may meet initially at Turner’s House to draw the interior, before making our prints.
The workshop will be held at the near ETNA centre where all current safety measures will be in place. All material will be provided, along with refreshments.
Face coverings will be provided if needed, as well as hand sanitiser. All the material needed for the session will be packed individually for each participant.
Places are limited. Booking is essential. BOOK HERE.
Sasa Marinkov lives in Twickenham near the River Thames. She studied Fine Art at Leeds University and Postgraduate Printmaking at Central School of Art and Design. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers (RE).
