About

The Kennet and Avon Canal Trust has been in existence for more than 50 years.

At Devizes we have our Head Quarters, Canal side Museum, Boat trips, Café and gift shop.

Our Canal Museum
Situated on Devizes Wharf the Museum is above the Trusts main office in a building that was originally a canal side bonded warehouse.

Visitors of the museum can discover the fascinating story of this delightful waterway, its construction, use and subsequent demise and the work done in recent times to restore it.
Our aim is to keep the museum open most days but as a voluntary based organisation this is not always possible so please telephone or visit our website for more up to date information.
