Don't miss this annual festival of steam locomotives in the Cotswolds

More details will follow soon, along with guest locomotive announcements, but here are some highlights to look forward to!

At Cheltenham Race Course:

  • Original 1912 ticket office open
  • Snacks by Tracks refreshments
  • Goods train brake van rides - A unique way to experience the line, ride on the brake van for a different view! First come first served, an additional ticket is required, pay on the brake van. Over 16s only.

At Broadway:

  • View progress on our newest station
  • Visit our new shop
  • Browse the Friends of Broadway fundraising shop
  • Broadway station Tea Room open.

At Toddington:

  • Locomotive sheds open to view current projects
  • Trade stands including model railway and locomotive owning group stands.
  • Goods train brake van rides - A unique way to experience the line, ride on the brake van for a different view! First come first served, an additional ticket is required, pay on the brake van. Over 16s only.
  • Visit the Cotswold Halt Café, coffee shop, gift shop and our exclusive Hawkstone Bar!
  • Narrow gauge operating steam train rides
  • Visit the GWRT Office - we are open for our visitors to come and talk to us about Membership and Volunteering etc.

At Winchcombe:

  • Carriage & Wagon workshops open to view projects
  • Viewing area beyond C&W workshops
  • Griddle & Coffeepot Tea Room
  • Discovery coach and model railway coach.

At Gotherington:

  • Private station grounds open specially courtesy of the owners Bryan & Savita
  • Ride on the Pump Trolley or enjoy the Wickham Trolley
  • Enjoy light refreshments or a homemade curry!
  • Good spot for viewing passing trains or to chill out and enjoy a picnic.‍
