Avon Valley Railway is hosting a weekend Festival of Transport at Bitton Station, featuring vintage vehicles, cycles and entertainment.

What you can expect

  • Vintage vehicles on display
  • Intensive timetable of steam and heritage diesel train services
  • Heritage bus service from Keynsham railway station overflow car park
  • Austin 7 Club
  • Trade stands
  • Classic railway and transport films in our static carriage ‘Rose’

Saturday 26 September

  • Sentinel steam lorries and only surviving steam bus
  • Fry’s fire engine
  • Traction and stationery steam engines
  • Military and farm vehicles
  • Douglas Vespa scooters
  • Penny Farthing Bike Tour Bath, The Veteran-Cycle Club and The Solent Veteran Bicycle & Tricycle Club (riders in Edwardian dress) – both on display and riding to Bath (at a sedate pace)
  • Acapela choir
  • Zest local community choir

Sunday 27 September

  • The Morris Minor club of Great Britain
