About

Crofton Beam Engines, home to the world's oldest working steam driven beam engine, is pleased to announce selected dates when visitors will be able to see our winter maintenance works in action. They will also allow visitors to see work behind the scenes at our unique site. These open days have proved very popular in previous years and once again visitors will be able to take guided tours and talk to the volunteers and hear about our plans as we work towards reopening at Easter 2020.
