We have all heard of a mushroom, but how much do we know about the wonderful wild mushrooms found in our forests?
Simply collect your free fungi discovery trail map from the Welcome Building, when you arrive and set off on a family fungi hunt this half term.
You can also take part in free hands-on indoor fungi craft activities combined in the Great Oak Hall, making fungi origami and painting little clay mushrooms to take home.
Family fun, ideal for children aged 4 -12 years.
Free after paying admission to the arboretum. Note: No need to book this free event, but pre-booking to visit the arboretum is required during October.
Dogs are not allowed in the Old Arboretum. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for walking and crafting.
