Taking a guided tour can open up whole new worlds for a curious traveller. As well as discovering the history and culture of a place, and getting a feel for its geography, you’ll be regaled with lots of entertaining anecdotes.

You’ll find our tour leaders are often energetic, passionate students of their chosen subject, able to deliver information with plenty of good humour. And many tours also run on a special theme such as ghosts, gardens, heritage, food and drink, boats, pubs, sacred sites, film and TV... even Jane Austen (parasols positively encouraged).

Sightseeing trips are also a fun, easy way to see some of the highlights along the Great West Way, especially those harder to reach by public transport. You’ll find plenty of day trips by bus and coach. They’ll take you from cities and towns to visit countryside attractions, before delivering you safely back to your hotel.

You can also take multi-day sightseeing excursions. Perhaps you want to explore more of the North Wessex Downs, but haven’t got a clue where to start? Or maybe you’re travelling alone and want to share the beauty of Bath and the Cotswolds with new friend?
