The Wiltshire Music Centre in Bradford on Avon is a purpose-built, 300-seat concert hall hosting more than 100 concerts a year featuring world-class classical, folk, jazz and world music artists. Renowned for "the finest acoustic outside London" (Sean Rafferty, BBC Radio 3) the Centre attracts internationally-renowned musicians including the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Academy of St Martin in the Fields, the Doric String Quartet, the Schubert Ensemble, violinist Nicola Benedetti pianists Steven Osborne and Leon McCawley and famed guitarist John Williams; jazz legends Courtney Pine, Stacey Kent and Jacqui Dankworth; stars of the folk music scene such as Kathryn Tickell, Lau, Martin Carthy, Frigg, John McCusker and Heidi Talbot; and world music's greatest ambassadors, from Black Umfolosi to Talvin Singh and El Tanbura. The Centre also programmes a series of family music shows and storytelling performances - "That was the best day of my whole life!" (Finn, aged 6) - given by award-winning musicians and performers with a love of both entertaining and teaching: from Roald Dahl's 'Little Red Riding Hood' and Giles Andreae's 'Sir Scallywag and the Golden Underpants' to Satoshi Kitamura's 'Igor, the Bird Who Couldn't Sing'. Community activity includes the Bradford Roots Music Festival featuring local musicians and regular activities held at the Centre, include Jazz Factory workshops, choral singing sessions, pre-school music and music therapy and Alzheimer groups, the Centre is the home to a variety of countywide orchestras and ensembles and runs an exemplary education and community programme across Wiltshire and beyond.

The Wiltshire Music Centre is on the north-west edge of Bradford on Avon and accessible from the Winsley Road at all times. From the main A363 Bath Road along Ashley Road, follow the signs. From 4pm on school days, and at any time during weekends and holidays, you can follow the signs from the main A363 Bath Road along Ashley Road. Free parking and disabled spaces adjacent to Centre can be accessed at any time via Winsley Road and Churches.
Bradford on Avon train station is 20 minutes uphill walk away. Taxis are available outside the station. The 264 and 265 service travels between Bath and Warminster, via Trowbridge. Ask for the 'Churches' stop on Winsley Road. From this stop, walk up 'Churches' (which is the name of a road into a housing estate). Follow the main road around and pass a central parking area on your right. After the parking, turn right (this is signposted by a brown Wiltshire Music Centre sign). Walk straight ahead towards the school. Turn to your left and ahead is the Centre (a large, red building).

Closed public holidays. Box Office open 9am to 6pm weekdays, one hour before weekend concerts and to the end of the interval for all concerts. We open at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday when we have a concert.
