About

Parade House is a beautiful Grade 1 Listed Georgian townhouse in the historic centre of Trowbridge, County Town of Wiltshire, which has recently been restored to its former glory as a unique events venue and museum.

Parade House boasts a series of fine rooms furnished with antiques, beautiful ceiling mouldings, and a grand original 18th century staircase leading to an elegant first floor Ballroom spanning the entire width of the building. It is the quintessential English Georgian residence, and a delight to visit along the Great West Way.

Parade House offers visitors a unique Bridgerton style experience. Delicious Regency Afternoon Cream Teas in the Ballroom, with scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam, freshly baked cakes and delectable finger sandwiches are all served on vintage china with silver cutlery, while the Jane Austen Dancers of Bath perform Regency dances for your pleasure in their beautiful costumes. Towards the end of the performance, guests are invited to join in and learn a few Regency steps themselves if they wish. This is a truly unique experience and memorable afternoon and not to be missed.

Other events at Parade House include:

- Guided House & History Tours by the owners.

- Weekly Friday Film Screenings with some of the best movies in classic and independent cinema

- Special themed Bar and Dinner Nights at Ushers in the historic vaults

- Fine Dining dinners in the Ballroom.

- Exhibitions

- Talks and musical events

All tickets must be pre-booked in advance via the website.

We regret that due to its Grade 1 Listing status, the building is not wheelchair, pushchair or dog friendly and there is no lift or baby changing facilities.
