The Rose and Crown, Ashbury is in a charming ‘off the beaten track’ village at the foot of the rolling countryside of the Lambourn Downs and the historic sites of the Vale of the Whitehorse.
It is a perfect village inn boasting an exceptional menu that reflects the chef’s passion for fine food and insistence on the best local ingredients. It also offers very comfortable rooms.
It has a unique atmosphere and very much reflects the gentle pace of a friendly and welcoming ‘unspoiled’ village inn.
It is also a very popular ‘pit stop’ for walkers and cyclists.
It’s a perfect location to visit in its own right, a weekend away, and also as a stopover when travelling to and from the South West.
