It’s the most wonderful time of the year when over a million lights, lasers and seasonal sounds fill the air with festive fun at Stourhead.
National Trust’s Stourhead in Wiltshire is getting ready to welcome its glittering illuminated Trail back this year, from 26 November to 2 January 2022
Marvel at the delights of Stourhead’s unique gardens adorned with decoration. This family-friendly magical festive trail in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside will be flooded with enchanting illuminations, all choreographed to a soundtrack of much-loved seasonal music.
There will be neon strings stretched between towering trees, a walk through a tunnel of hearts and onto larger-than-life mistletoe, a flotilla of festive, brightly coloured boats bobbing on the lake, giant colour changing flora and plenty of fantastic selfie moments.
Trail highlights for 2021:
• Neon Tree – its branches interwoven with multicoloured neon lights
• Voyage – a colourful installation of small boats floating on the water
by international artists Aether and Hemera
• Neon Strings – a woodland with bouncing lines that glow in the moonlight
Independent street food vendors bring a delicious twist to tasty treats on offer. Complete your walk under the stars with *toasted marshmallows, a *spiced winter warmer or *hot chocolate shared with someone special.
Christmas at Stourhead provides a special way to celebrate the festive season with an unmissable outdoor experience. The trail is designed for visitors of all ages and is accessible to all to enjoy.
Tickets are selling fast book now to avoid disappointment!
