About

Wakako Guppy, a licensed chef from Japan, will guide you through authentic Japanese cooking.
The menu will be of authentic dishes that Japanese people eat daily but which are also considered good for British tastes. She will cover the popular 'ichiju-sansai' menu format (rice, soup, main and side dishes) plus a dessert which on this occasion will be:
•Gomoku sushi: A variety of vegetables and seafood scattered into sushi rice, topped with shredded Japanese egg crepe, mange tout and nori seaweed.
•Clear soup with egg filigree: Rich-in-umami Japanese fish soup with flower egg
•Assorted tempura: A platter of Japanese light-battered and deep-fried vegetables and seafood
•String beans gomaae salad: String beans dressed with sweet sesame sauce
•Tofu cheesecake: Healthy fusion cheesecake with tofu, garnished with mixed berry coulis
