Join Learning Officer Rita Piglionica exploring the surroundings of Turner’s House and sketching in the landscape just as JMW Turner did! We will also learn more about the history of the local area and how Turner lived in the Twickenham.

Turner in Textiles: a different way to ‘paint’

JMW Turner is famous for his landscapes. He painted with oil, watercolour and made some prints too. However, did you know that we can paint with a lot of other materials? Come and join us ‘painting’ our landscapes using felt! We will look together at some of Turner’s landscape painting and trying to reproduce our own inspired by the River Thames landscape.
