Teddy Bears Picnic at Avon Valley Railway

Avon Valley Railway invites families to enjoy a steam train ride along the line, together with a whole host of activities back at Bitton Station. Visitors can expect balloon modelling, face painting, magic shows and much more, making it a day packed with entertainment for children.

Best of all, all children who bring their teddy bear can travel FREE, making it the perfect family day out.

This family-friendly weekend gives families the opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled day together. Visitors can experience a 50-minute journey aboard a real steam train, travelling the length of the line with a stop at each end to watch the locomotive run around the train as the crew uncouple and recouple the engine.

Back at Bitton Station, guests will be welcomed by balloon modellers and face painters, while magic shows throughout the day will provide even more entertainment on the station lawn.

Visitors can also stop by the station buffet for refreshments, including children's lunch boxes and a wide selection of hot and cold food and drink. The station gift shop will be open throughout the event, offering souvenirs and mementoes to help visitors remember their day at Avon Valley Railway.
