The amount of meat we eat in the West and the effect it has on the planet, farming methods, animal welfare and our health is horrifying. Not only are these foods kinder to the environment, they are packed with nutrition and will help you feel fitter and healthier.
This is an ideal session for anyone who wants to reduce or eliminate their meat intake, whether for ethical or health reasons.
On the menu:
- 3 ingredient Vegan flat breads
Chickpea, sweet potato, spinach & coconut curry with rice pilaff
- Bruschetta with avocado, roasted pepper & sautéed tofu
- Vegannaise (the vegan answer to mayonnaise)
- Chocolate, orange & hazelnut brownies served with coconut cream (the vegan answer to Chantilly cream
This is suitable for vegans, vegetarians and all those who would like some tasty non-animal product ideas. All levels of culinary skills can be accommodated.
At the end of the session, enjoy a glass of wine with a plate of your delicious food plus there will be goodies to take home.
