We're inviting everyone to go wild for wildlife and join us for a fun and informative week where you'll learn about the wonderful wildlife that make the gorge their home.
There will be a series of daily interactive talks taking place in the Museum of Prehistory Garden. We'll be shining the spotlight on the Soay sheep and goats who roam the cliffs, the bats who live deep within our caves, the nocturnal dormouse and the birds who soar high above the gorge.
You'll learn how all wildlife is important to our landscape and ecosystem as well as how we can all help to conserve these precious species for future generations.
Join 'How To' sessions where our team will demonstrate how to make a bird feeder from upcycled household items. At the end of each session, everyone will receive an instruction pack of how to make their own feeder at home.
Special pop-up events will run on selected days throughout the week where you will see and learn about these special species:
Owl Meet and Greet courtesy of Owl Enlightment: Saturday 25th May
Our live Bee Hive Station courtesy of Burnham and Bee District Keepers: Wednesday 29th May 2024 and Saturday 1st June.
All included with your day ticket.
