Award-winning Church Farm Country Cottages comprises 7 well equipped, single storey cottages with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings and the delightful Old Granary barn conversion ¾ mile along the country lane. The properties are ideally situated for visiting Bradford on Avon (2 miles), Longleat (12 miles) and the World Heritage City of Bath (5 miles).

Enjoy a rural location on a working sheep farm. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty you can enjoy walking and cycling from your doorstep. Luxurious heated indoor pool (12m x 5m) with shower and changing facilities is perfect for those rainy days! Games Room with table tennis, table football and a pool table Wi-Fi Internet Access. Award-winning Hartley Farm Shop and Café, village pub and village shop all within 500m.
Each cottage has a Smart TV. Our welcome cream tea includes homemade scones, jam, organic clotted cream and milk from the family farm and locally produced biscuits with tea and coffee. Bathroom toiletries provided. Crisp white cotton linen.

Three 2-person cottages, four 4-person cottages and one 12-person country house. We can accommodate up to 34 for celebrations such as weddings, family or friends’ get-togethers.
We are located on a main bus route with easy access to Bradford on Avon, Bath and Salisbury. Buses run every 30 minutes throughout the day. Ample private parking and nearby train stations at Bradford on Avon and Bath.

The Old Granary is a stunning converted barn set in a peaceful countryside location, this detached barn is 3/4 mile from Church Farm along a country lane. It has its own private driveway with plenty of parking. The property has a well equipped country style kitchen with an Aga, a dishwasher and a large american style fridge freezer with an ice maker and iced water dispenser, comfortable living room and dining hall to seat all residents. There is one twin room downstairs and two triple rooms upstairs.

There are two double bedrooms upstairs, one with an en-suite bathroom. There is a shared bathroom upstairs with a bath and shower above. A second downstairs toilet is available near the lobby of the house. This property is perfect for a family get-together who would like to explore the nearby area and its many attractions. It would also make an ideal base for a Hen Party to enjoy the activities in the nearby countryside as well as the vibrant, cultural and beautiful city of Bath.

Short breaks, weekly lets or longer stays welcomes. Special/late availability offers also available.

Farmcraft sessions are also available during your stay if they are booked in advanced. These could be a Farm tour, Sheep Herding, Farm Olympics or a Bushcraft session. They are great fun for families/friends/groups
Booking and payment is taken in advance. Contact Becky (farmcraft2018@gmail.com) for more details

A ‘Farm Workshop’ is time spent on the farm (with Becky) learning about some of the day-to-day jobs/chores. This could be from feeding sheep, weighing lambs for market, sheep herding, a Farm tour to a neighbouring farm with other farm animals and finishing up with some Farm Olympics.

I also offer sessions in basic bushcraft and survival skills. Activities include fire lighting, den building, basic foraging and making creative artefacts using natural resources (jewellery/bows and arrows/colour dyes etc). This again is great fun, and the adults will get into it just as much as the children

These sessions are suitable for all ages from 3 years upwards. I always adapt them so that activities match the age group. A parent/guardian must always be present during these sessions.

Booking and payment is taken in advance. The price for a family of 4 is £45.00 (-/+ £10 for additional people). Contact Becky (farmcraft2018@gmail.com) for more details.
