Mr B's Emporium couldn't be more excited to welcome authors Laura Wood, Kate Young and Kirsty Greenwood to the shop for a special romance panel event.
Mr B's will be celebrating the brand new releases of Laura Wood's sweet and sexy novel Under Your Spell, Kate Young's debut, Experienced, a queer romcom set in Bristol, and Kirsty Greenwood's The Love of My Afterlife, a laugh-out-loud romcom with a supernatural twist!
About Under Your Spell by Laura Wood:
She only wants three things. He isn't one of them… Dumped by her cheating ex, fired from her dream job, about to lose her flat: Clementine Monroe is not having a good day.
So when her sisters get her drunk and suggest reviving a childhood ritual called the breakup spell, she doesn't see the harm in it. But now Clemmie has accidentally ruined a funeral, had her first one-night stand, and she's stuck with a new job she definitely doesn't want – spending six weeks alone with the gorgeous and very-off-limits rock star, Theo Eliott. He's the most famous man on the planet. Her life's a disaster.
When it comes to love, Clemmie is learning you should be careful what you wish for…
About Experienced by Kate Young:
Bette loves Mei, but Bette and Mei are on a break, so Bette can catch-up on the decade of dating experiences she missed before she came out.
So Bette is (reluctantly) on a dating odyssey: a quest to have lots of casual sex with lots of hot women and come back to Mei more experienced and more certain about what she wants. And now she has new friend Ruth as her dating guide, she can't possibly fail. It's just three months, then she'll be back with Mei.
About The Love of My Afterlife by Kirsty Greenwood:
If she wasn't dead already, Delphie would be dying of embarrassment. She's entered the afterlife wearing the sort of pyjamas you don't want anyone to see and finds herself face-to-face with the most handsome man she's ever encountered. And he's smiling at her.
As they start to chat, everything else becomes background noise – until someone comes running out of a door, yelling something about a huge mistake, and sends the dreamy stranger back down to earth.
In a twist of fate, Delphie is offered a deal in which she can return to her previous life and reconnect with the mysterious man she's sure is her soulmate.
The challenge? She only has ten days to find him.
Ten days to make him fall for her.
Oh, and he has no recollection of them ever having met…
