Travel across the globe (on foot!) along one of the most diverse highstreets on the planet! Around The World in BS5 is a promenade experience exploring the cuisines, cultures and stories of communities from across the world.
Expect anything from traditional instruments to contemporary performance. From singing to vogueing! There'll be dancing in hair salons, and encounters amongst fresh cut flowers. And of course, you will be tasting delicious food — from Jamaica to India, the Middle East to West Afrika, via Afghanistan, Ethiopia and Nigeria — so come with an empty belly, an open heart (and a pair of comfy shoes!).
Stapleton Road awaits you, with the warmest of welcomes!
Around The World in BS5 will take place every Sunday throughout June, with shows running multiple times per day. The experience will last approximately 90 minutes.
Tickets
Admission is FREE, however the team ask for a refundable deposit of £5 to secure your place. Your £5 can be fully refunded after the event, or it can be spent in a selection of businesses on Stapleton Road. If you are unable to pay a refundable deposit please contact hello@compasspresents.com.
Whilst this event is accessible for people using a wheelchair, we ask that you please let the organisers know if you will be attending in a wheelchair, or with a pushchair, so that they can plan to account for this in the spaces we are visiting. If you are planning to experience the show on foot, but have limited mobility, please contact them to discuss your needs and so we can advise on the suitability of the experience. Further event info will be emailed to ticket holders ahead of the event.
