The Wave is an inland-surfing destination where everyone can surf and bodyboard on consistent safe waves every day of the year. It brings surfing, nature and a fresh way of thinking to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities - from a child stepping on a board for the first time, to a professional training for the Olympics.
It's the first destination of its kind in England and it's Wavegarden Cove technology provides over 1,000 waves an hour. Every aspect of the surfing experience - perfect wave breaks, supportive lessons and tried and tested wetsuits and boards - have been designed to ensure that surfing is fun for all.
Surfing one hour at The Wave gives you as many rideable waves as eight hours in the sea.
With a 200m surfing lake at its heart, The Wave delivers an unrivalled inland surf experience suitable for all. Every aspect of a visit has been designed to ensure it's fun for everyone and fully inclusive. At The Wave no-one is judged - except on competition days!
The Wave is not just an amazing surfing experience, it also has wonderful food and a shop selling surfboards, wetsuits and a range of The Wave products.
Coming in Spring 2020: Beautiful gardens, peaceful hideaways and family-friendly camping.
