About

Learn to weave your very own fabric!

This 8-week course on Wednesday evenings will set you up with a great foundation of hand-weaving skills with the opportunity to learn how to make your own cotton fabric that can be turned into place mats or table runners.

You will learn:
How to warp, wind and thread up a rigid heddle loom
To hem stitch your creation
How to finish your fabric so that it can be used long into the future

We will also cover why tension is one of the most important parts of weaving, what the difference is between a warp and a weft and how to use a shuttle properly to make beautiful

Perfect for absolute beginners this is a great introduction to weaving in a fun and friendly atmosphere taught by an experienced tutor.
