Bristol City are facing Oxford United for their first round tie in the 2023-2024 Carabao Cup. Kick off is at 7:45 pm on Tuesday the 9th of August.
After losing to Lincoln City in the third round of last years cup, Nigel Pearson's Robins will look to have a much longer cup run this season. City's previous two games against Oxford in this competition have seen The U's come out on top.
Two former Oxford players are likely to feature for City, defender Rob Dickie and forward Mark Sykes.
