Enjoy a three-course meal at the Second Floor Restaurant as local Bristol artist Christophe unveils a collection of artwork rooted in music and underground culture.
Running from May through to October 2024, 'Echoes from the Underground: A Visual Journey Through Alternative Music Culture', is a collection of oil and hand-printed original pieces from artist, designer, producer and DJ Christophe, incorporating everything from classic portraiture to abstract expressionism, all inspired by his experiences as a creative in both the art and music fields.
Having been part of Bristol's underground dance scene for over 20 years, Christophe's work will be familiar to art fans and music-lovers alike. As a graphic designer, DJ and music producer, he has designed for or played at countless clubs and festivals over the years, providing the visuals for institutions such as Love Saves the Day, Silver Hayes @ Glastonbury, Paranoid London and DMC to name but a few. His art draws on his extensive experience in Bristol's vibrant music landscape.
Starting with a Hacien Tequila Cocktail on arrival, the three-course menu designed by the Second-Floor team features Salt cod, Sailsbury plain saddle of lamb, and a Blackmore vale buttermilk and tonka bean pannacotta. Vegan options are also available.
Following the meal there will be the opportunity to meet the artist and enjoy DJ Sets.
