Vintage Screenings pair classic films with thematically linked wine tastings to create unique evenings in the stunning setting of Averys Wine Merchants' historic wine cellar. Following a sparkling wine reception, the film will be accompanied by a tasting of four carefully selected wines courtesy of Averys' resident experts.
In May Bristol Film are celebrating two classic films turning 70 this year, concluding with the acclaimed romantic comedy Roman Holiday. With her portrayal of a princess embarking on an incognito sightseeing trip of Rome, Audrey Hepburn became the first actress to win an Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe for a single performance. Naturally, it'll be paired with Italian wines fit for royalty!
