Owner and Manager William Cartwright-Hignett personally greets each guest, while Head Chef Matthew Briddon introduces the evening’s menu, offering a detailed explanation of the culinary techniques and flavors to build anticipation.
The culinary philosophy is based on honesty, locality, and freshness. Many of the ingredients are sourced from the Iford Manor walled garden or the surrounding Iford Estate. With a strong focus on reducing waste, every part of the animal or vegetable is used whenever safe and feasible. The difference in flavor is clear, and they hope diners will agree.
