Gelli Plate Printing

About

Try your hand at gelli plate monoprinting on fabric! Make your own unique prints without the need for a printing press.

During this experience you'll explore a range of gelli plate printing techniques. Experiment with stencils, masking, and layering. The plate is made of non-toxic synthetic gelatin, which is vegan friendly.

You'll leave the workshop with a collection of beautiful prints which look fantastic on their own, or you could further develop in a mixed media project, or even make bunting from!

What to expect:

A relaxed and fun atmosphere
Soft drinks to keep you hydrated (BYOB, or bring snacks if wanted!)
Expert guidance and tips from host Shannon
Access to a gelli plate each (6x6 inch), fabric paints, stencils, plants, brayers, paintbrushes etc.
Various squares of fabric (feel free to bring some of your own, or a bag/item of clothing to print on)
This is an experience suited to all - no matter your level of artsy-ness! We would love to have you there.
