Influenced by the freewheeling jazz pioneer Ornette Coleman, grounded by a rhythm section who take to the world's biggest stages with the likes of Portishead & Radiohead, fronted by two of the most distinctive horn players in the South West, lauded internationally for their live performances, and much heralded in the national press for their self-recorded and self-produced six album output, Get The Blessing offer an evening of deliciously uncategorisable post-jazz.
"thrilling" – The Guardian
"one of the most original groups on the scene, and every note they play proves that assertion" – Bird Is the Worm
"excellent….unmissable" – Jazz Journal
Jim Barr – bass
Clive Deamer – drums
Pete Judge – trumpet
Jake McMurchie – saxophone
