The Bristol Improv Theatre presents a double bill of improvised comedy especially sourced from the South West.
Spacecats:
Spacecats is a surreal episodic comedy show, where you will see improvisers play anything from atoms to asteroids. Like brave astronomers, like wise philosophers, like kittens playing with a ball of yarn, they delve into the great unanswered questions of the universe such as:
How do spoons really feel about each other? Why do seagulls hate tik tok? Can humans and coral reefs ever be friends?
We weave abstract stories and concepts into an overarching narrative, based on your suggestions! Expect to see physical theatre, contemporary dance, off-the-cuff beat poetry and irreverent dream sequences in this kaleidoscope of improvised deep space exploration!
Real Positive Poles:
Real Positive Poles are a group of award winning Bristol based improvisers with a passion for big ideas and science fiction. We take inspiration from your favourite shows to create brand new episodes based on audience suggestions.
Winner of The Brighton Seagull's Best Improvised Show Award and top 3 shortlisted for the Best Show in all categories by The Reviews Hub at the Brighton Fringe 2022.
