When creating a play for Marmee's birthday, the March sisters decide that the best story to tell is their own. After all, what could be more exciting than a very real and honest account of their grand adventures? While crafting their new masterpiece, Jo, Beth, Meg, Amy, and their neighbour Laurie, must navigate love, loss, art, and the ever so difficult task of agreeing with one's sisters.
Exploring Louisa May Alcott's seminal stories of these four beloved sisters in a bold and contemporary new light, Little(*ish) Women combines classic literature and 90s/00s female pop artists in a new adaptation by Lottie Dance.
Featuring 5 incredible actors playing over 15 characters, Little(*ish) Women is a fun and heartfelt celebration of sisterhood, stories, and what it means to be a woman.
Little(*ish) Women marks WhimsiCo's second production as a company, and their first ever South-West tour! Collaborating with friends old and new, the show promises to be a joyful and riotous new play from writer/director Lottie Dance in her second collaboration with the company.
Please note that although this is an adaptation of a novel for young people, this production is suitable for ages 13+.
