The North Wessex Downs AONB is delighted to announce bookings are open for the North Wessex Downs Walking Festival taking place this June. The festival is just one way that the team at the National Landscape are marking anniversary of the National Landscape – when it became a protected landscape in 1972.

With 27 walks across the length and breadth of the North Wessex Downs, the walking festival is a celebration of the stunning landscapes, gorgeous scenery and top-class walking country that the AONB has to offer.

Walks are led by friendly and knowledgeable guides who will bring their favourite places alive for walkers.

Many walks are free, but all require booking as places are limited. Details of all the walks and how to book can be found online at www.northwessexdowns.org on the walking pages. More information on some of the walks can be found below:
