One of Bristol's most beloved community events, Story Slam is the place to hear and share true stories live on stage
Hosted on the third Sunday of each month, Story Slam has played host to over 1,200 storytellers over the last 8 years. Each show has its own theme and is hosted by a variety of loving and compassionate compères who guide the audience through stories ranging from the hilarious and triumphant to the heart-breaking and tragic.
All stories are told by volunteers from the audience. Simply come along on the day and put your name in the hat for a chance to tell a story, or just come along and enjoy listening to everyone else's.
The show also has an accompanying podcast so you can enjoy the show wherever you are. Simply search 'Story Slam Bristol' in your podcast app of choice.
You're never quite sure what you're going to hear at Story Slam, which is why it's one of the most popular long running shows in the city.
