About

Join Bristol Film for a truly memorable film night in the company of Concorde Alpha Foxtrot, in its magnificent home at Aerospace Bristol. Before the film, step onboard Concorde and enjoy fascinating archival footage of her maiden flight. When the film starts, take your seats beneath the wings of this iconic plane and settle back to enjoy the show!

On the 80th anniversary of Operation Chastise, the RAF's legendary and audacious mission to bomb the Ruhr Valley dams, Bristol Film is thrilled to present The Dam Busters, the 1955 classic inspired by the true story. This epic of British cinema has been beautifully restored digitally, and remains a gripping account of one of the most daring actions of the Second World War.

As part of this milestone anniversary screening, there will be a short introduction to the film detailing Bristol's crucial role in aeronautical history, particularly its part in the Second World War.
