The story of Marie Lloyd, who died 100 years ago. Marie Lloyd started treading the boards at the age of 15, developing a singing repertoire that combined arch sauciness with lyrical intensity. Hailed as the One and Only, Queen of Music Hall, Marie Lloyd, enjoyed a huge popularity world-wide whilst frequently enduring a turbulent love life.
