Celebrate Black History Month with a high-energy, 90-minute experience. This unique workshop blends poetry, rap and play—rooted in Bristol’s African-Caribbean heritage.

It is inspired by a trailblazing Black woman: Princess Campbell MBE. She transformed mental healthcare in the city and was a leading activist for justice and equality.

Choose one of the following workshops, which include a 10 minute tour to see Princess Campbell’s nursing uniform on display.

  • 11am – 12.45pm
  • 1.30pm – 3.15pm

Facilitator iAM13e (iAMBE) is a spoken word Poet, MC and creative wellbeing facilitator. He blends rhythm, story and community to unlock confidence and creativity.
