Xuefei Yang's journey began after the Cultural Revolution, a period where Western musical instruments and music were banned in China. Yang was the first guitarist in China to enter a music school and became the first internationally recognised Chinese guitarist on the world stage. Performing a election of works from across Spain, including Albéniz' Suite Españole which highlights various regions of the country, the music will be accompanied by Madrid-born dancer Maria Vega for an evening of authentic Flamenco music and dance.
