Trade Product Information and Experiences:
This extraordinary 4,500-year old marvel of human endeavour rises from an ancient landscape. A dedicated shuttle bus runs from the coach park to the monument every few minutes. Groups can choose to hop off the shuttle at the halfway point to follow in the footsteps of their ancestors and approach on foot. If schedules allow, do leave time to explore the many other prehistoric monuments that spread across the countryside.
The world-class permanent exhibition tells the story of Stonehenge using audio-visual experiences and hundreds of archaeological treasures. It’s under the same roof as the café, shop and toilets as well as the special exhibitions gallery.
New for 2021, our newly refurbished café has increased seating capacity, a reconfigured kitchen area and introduced a fresh new look featuring commissioned contemporary art by artist Catherine Headley. Group travellers will benefit from the new till points, additional coffee machines and hot food counters which will all contribute to reducing queues and improving the speed of service. Tasty new items are coming to the menu, ensuring that our food offer is closely aligned to all our visitors’ needs and sourced locally using independent suppliers wherever possible
Our free new audio guide app is available in 12 languages. Visitors can download it for free from Google Play and Apple App Store. Tours of the exhibition, stone circle and wider landscape will enhance any visit to Stonehenge. Visitors are encouraged to download the app in advance and once at Stonehenge take advantage of the user-friendly interface to dip in and out of the tour as they choose.
