A faun playing a flute. Silhouettes of a woman and child

About

It's the summer of the pandemic and Dot's teenage daughter is driving her mother bananas as she deals with the rigours of home education and her own midlife "what's become of me?" crisis. Her precocious elfin daughter of course has her own issues - getting through her studies without her beloved father at home - whilst toying with her own ideas of "who will I become?" Dot (or Dorothy as she was named) pours her energies into researching the lives of some of the other 'Dorothys' who have gone before her, while her child buries herself in the world of Greek mythology.

A Faun statue appears in their garden and provides a welcome distraction for them both. But what will happen when they each want a piece of him? Playful, poignant, funny, Dot, the Faun and the Elfin Child is an exciting new play from DotDotDotTheatre, an emerging South-West based company.
