Vintage Screenings pair classic films with thematically linked wine tastings to create unique evenings in the stunning setting of Averys Wine Merchants' historic wine cellar. Following a sparkling wine reception, the film will be accompanied by a tasting of four carefully selected wines courtesy of Averys' resident experts.

In May Bristol Film Festival are celebrating two classic films turning 70 this year, starting with the sharp-shootin', toe-tappin' musical comedy Calamity Jane! Doris Day leads a stellar cast in this misadventure, which won an Oscar for the song 'Secret Love'. We'll be pairing the film with wines from the frontiers of the Wild West – but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll be American…
