As part of Heritage Open Days, join Chippenham Museum behind-the-scenes and discover how we care for our collection and store over 40,000 objects. Explore where we house our collection on an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Museum Stores, led by our Collections and Exhibitions Officer. We will also be joined by CMAS "Conservation & Museums Advisory Service", who will be demonstrating how we care for objects in the collection with help from our volunteers.
Stores Tours will take place on the hour, from 11am - 2pm, with a duration of approximately 30-minutes. Book your tickets via Eventbrite.
Our behind-the-scenes tours are free, but spaces are limited so booking is essential. Please note, our stores do not have step-free access. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
