Every year there are days where we open the Lock Up for residents and visitors alike to view the historic jail, as part of Heritage Open Days.
Heritage Open Days is England's largest festival of history and culture, offering free access to historic sites, buildings and events.
Held annually, it encourages communities to celebrate local heritage through guided tours, talks and activities.
