Learn about the traditional craft of block printing in the inspiring setting of Number 1 Royal Crescent Bath. Using a wide selection of blocks you will print a bag or tea towel discovering repeat patterns and exploring colour and design.
Artist Clare Walsh will guide you through the process, teaching techniques and explaining the relevance to Georgian Fashion.
This will be a very relaxed workshop, suitable for all abilities.
Duration of workshop 2 hours.
What's included? All materials will be provided. Tea and coffee will be available.
Suitable for 16 years old and above.

About the Artist
Clare Walsh is a designer, maker and workshop tutor. Taking inspiration from nature she uses leaves, flowers and herbs to create original designs which she then screen prints onto natural linen.
