Jonny Woo: Suburbia

About

A unique blend of spoken word, storytelling and performance art, Suburbia is a poetic memoir about his life from his childhood in the Medway Towns, Kent, to discovering the drug ‘ecstasy’ in the 1990s, the clubs of New York and to building a queer community in London.

Now in his fifties, Woo is reflective and honest about the secrets he harboured and the lessons he learnt. His wit is sharp and his desire to shock and surprise is evident throughout.

Running time approx. 65 mins, no interval.
