Come and make your very own handcrafted tea cup and saucer with Pottymouth Workshop!
Join ceramicists Naomi Stokes and Meredith Mason at Bristol's newest boutique hotel, Artist Residence, in Portland square. This venue is a former boot factory turned cafe, kitchen and bar- the perfect spot to get creative.
You'll be guided step-by-step through the process of making your own 'pinch pot' ceramic tea cup and accompanying saucer.
What to expect:
- Learn the fundamentals of slab-building pottery
- Be guided in the technique of making a classic pinch pot
- Get plenty of guidance and support from your hosts
- Add a personal touch with a range of colourful decorative slips
Your finished item will be left with your hosts who will fire and glaze your work. You will be contacted to collect your mugs from your host within 2-4 weeks.
