The 2023 Scriptwriters & Co. International Festival is the culmination of a Bath-based contest for screenwriters and playwrights worldwide, sponsored by Final Draft and Posterity Entertainment.
There are categories for screen, stage and audio scripts of all shapes and sizes, with laurels for Quarter-Finalists, Semi-Finalists and Finalists, trophies and FD12 scriptwriting software for winners of all categories and potentially route-to-production prizes. Entry is via FilmFreeway.
Selected finalists' pieces will be performed live and on screen by professional S&CO Actors, before the awards ceremony.
This year's guest speakers are scriptwriting guru and author Lucy V Hay of Bang2Write, and John Hodge, BAFTA-award-winning screenwriter of films including Trainspotting, A Life Less Ordinary, The Beach and Shallow Grave.
Tickets: £40
