At its peak, the Comedy Network ran 40 monthly comedy club nights across Britain's Universities & Theatres. It was the most prolific brand of grassroots comedy in the UK.
2023's season is your chance to see some of the most exciting names in British comedy at an affordable price!
May's line-up.
Rosie Holt:
Rosie Holt is an actor and comedian best known for her viral internet videos on Twitter skewering the political landscape since the pandemic.
A right-wing opinionist distorting the news, an MP defending a failing government and a left-winger wanting to say the right thing but scared of getting it wrong. These characters come together in a sharp and funny look at modern politics.
"If she can stay in character long enough, she'll have a telegraph column and a seat on Question Time by teatime" James O'Brien
'The Thick of It levels of writing and performance applied to a very 2022 flavour of political bullshit' – The Times
Kate Martin:
At 6ft 1, with the longest wingspan in comedy (*probably), Kate's a naturally engaging, energetic performer with effortlessly tight gags to match. Her unique background in mental health has given her a fresh take on the world, a completely distinctive voice, and fuels her high energy storytelling, whip-smart punchlines and razor-sharp observations of life's quirks through queer eyes.
'Bulletproof' (Steve Bennett, Chortle)
'She's definitely got funny bones' (Bruce Dessau, Beyond the Joke)
Luke Honnoraty:
Luke's observational comedy which focuses on parenting and relationships, is always delivered with a cheeky but charismatic style, and made him Katherine Ryan's choice of tour support for her UK tour. He then went on to support Joel Dommett's tour in 2017 and Lloyd Griffith on his UK tours.
A truly natural and gifted comedian and Presenter of the Comedy Special for BBC Radio Devon, Luke makes you feel most comfortable talking about the most uncomfortable subjects; the way in which he communicates such topics whilst making you fall further in love with his boyish charm is all part of the Honnoraty experience.
