Jude Law turns in the performance of his career in this dark psychological drama set at the height of 1980's yuppiedom. Rory is an ambitious entrepreneur who brings his American wife and kids to his native England to explore new business opportunities. They move into a cen­turies-old coun­try manor, but soon the promise of a lucra­tive new begin­ning starts to unrav­el and the cou­ple have to face the unwel­come truths lying beneath the sur­face of their marriage. Steeped in an atmosphere of unease and mounting tension, this haunting parable of greed and obsession builds to an ending you will be thinking about long after leaving the theatre.
