Step into the wonderful world of The Snowman™ and his friends at this enchanting family-friendly exhibition.
See the original book illustrations, animation set ups from The Snowman™ film, and artwork for The Snowman and the Snowdog animation, and explore the interactive family activity area – including a recreation of the famous red plane.
First published in 1978, The Snowman™ was originally created by Raymond Briggs in comic strip format using coloured pencils. Four years later, it was adapted into the short animated film we all know and love.
The Snowman's charming, heartrending story, and the subsequent sequel featuring the Snowdog, have since delighted generations of children and adults alike with their touching tales of love and loss alongside frolics and friendship.
Experience the wonder of childhood all over again and get to know the characters and the creator behind this seasonal favourite.
Free guided tour included in your exhibition ticket, Thursdays 1.30-2pm.
